Ezekiel 40: 3-4 When he brought me there behold, there was a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a line of linen and a measuring reed in hand; and he was standing in the doorway. Daniel 10: 4-21 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I stood by the great river, that is to say the Tigris,  I looked up and looked, and behold, a man dressed in linen, whose loins were girded with gold from Uphaz.  Her body was like beryl, her face like the appearance of lightning, her eyes like flaming torches, her arms and legs like the glow of burnished bronze., and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.  And I, Daniel, saw the vision, for the men that was with me did not see the vision, but a great tremor fell upon them, and they ran away to hide.  So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me; my radiant appearance was dreadfully changed, and I retained no strength.  So I heard the sound of his words; and when I heard the sound of his words, I fell face down on the ground in a deep sleep, face down on the ground.  And behold, a hand touched me and made me tremble on my hands and knees.  And he said to me: âO Daniel, beloved man, heed the words that I say to you and stand upright, for now I am sent to you. As he said that word to me, I stood up shaking.  Then he said to me: âDo not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day when you decided to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I came because of your words.  The prince of the kingdom of Persia resisted me twenty-one days; but Michael, one of the main princes, came to help me, so I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia  and came to make you understand what will happen to your people in the last days. For the vision is for the days to come.  When he had spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face to the ground and remained silent.  And behold, one like unto the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to the one standing before me, âO my lord, because of the vision pains have struck me and I have no more strength.  How can my lord’s servant speak with my lord? For now, no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.  Once again someone with the appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me.  And he said: âO beloved man, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and good luck. And when he spoke to me, I was strengthened and I said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.” ”  Then he said, âDo you know why I came to you? But now I will return to fight the Prince of Persia; and when I’m done with him, behold, the Prince of Greece will come.  But I will tell you what is written in the book of truth: there is no one who fights by my side against these, except Michael, your prince.
Sirach 46: 19-20 Before the hour of his eternal sleep, Samuel called men to testify before the Lord and his anointed, âI took no property from anyone, not even a pair of shoes. And no one accused him.  Even after falling asleep, he prophesied and revealed to the king his death, and lifted his voice out of the earth in prophecy, to erase the wickedness of the people.
2 Maccabees 5: 1-4 Around this time, Antiochus made his second invasion of Egypt. 2 Maccabees 15: 11-16 He armed each of them not so much with confidence in shields and spears as with the inspiration of courageous words, and he encouraged them all by telling a dream, some kind of vision, that was trustworthy.  What he saw was this: Onias, who had been a high priest, a noble and good man, modest in appearance and gentle manner, the one who spoke properly and had been trained from childhood in all that belongs to excellence, prayed with outstretched hands for the whole body of the Jews.  Then likewise a man appeared, distinguished by his gray hair and dignity, and of marvelous majesty and authority.  And Onias spoke, saying, “He is a man who loves the brothers and prays a lot for the people and the holy city, Jeremiah, the prophet of God.”  Jeremiah stretched out his right hand and gave Judas a golden sword, and while he was giving it to him he spoke to him thus:  âTake this holy sword, a gift from God, with which you will strike your opponents. “
Matthew 17: 1-4 And after six days Jesus took with him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them apart to a high mountain.  And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white like the light.  And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah speaking with him.
